Went to my Weight Watchers meeting this morning. I lost a whole .2 pounds which is really no change at all but less of a blow to my confidence than if that .2 had had a plus sign in front of it. At least that is what I am telling myself. I got a bit lazy about writing foods down and keeping track of points and it's funny how the brain starts to downplay the points value of foods you put in your mouth when you don't actually keep track of it. So, back to writing it all down, including the alcohol. Right in time for Memorial Day weekend. Bummer....
The wrist is feeling better. I woke up last Sunday morning and whuppah! the pain she is gone....just like that. Hurt so bad the day before I couldn't pick up a coffee cup. I don't know what the heck the deal is. But I still haven't been knitting much because I have been outside planting flowers and whipping our back patio into shape. I rearranged the furniture, put the table in front of the kitchen window, added a shade umbrella and moved the bench and chaise and chairs under the pergola, hung up a sunshade and trained the vines to climb the trellis. Now it's a nice cozy room and we've been spending a lot more time out there. It stays shady until about 4 pm and then it's blazing sun, so we really needed the umbrella and the sunshade to make it usable after 4.
One chocolate chip in the vanilla today is that I might have my mitts back on that handmade cherry spinning wheel on Craigslist that slipped through my fingers back in March. The gal that got it is moving to a smaller place and wants a wheel she can spin bulky yarns on, so she said she would sell it to me for what she paid for it. I am not going to get too excited until it is in the back of my Toyota on the way home...keep fingers (and perhaps toes) crossed for me!

plateaus are normal in weight loss. just watch what you take in and make sure you use up the fuel. :)
as for the crossing of things...everything that can cross here, is crossed.

.2 pounds isn't bad. Could certainly be worse!
I picked up one of their three month log books. It was only $7 and it doesn't take up too much room in my bag.

Your patio looks very inviting. I can't cross my toes, but my fingers are crossed for another wheel.

Your patio is awesome! It looks like something from a magazine.
