Last Sunday morning was a little hectic getting the Toyota packed up for the trip back home from the cabin since we had to put all the tools away from the construction project. Chip usually handles the tools and I handle the packing of the car, but he works right up until departure time and calls on me from time to time to come hold something or hand him something so my tasks get interrupted quite a bit. Needless to say, I get a little distracted and when it came time to take my morning meds I made a little boo boo. I took 1.5 pills of Ambien instead of 1.5 pills of my Lexapro. Hey, they're both little round while aspirin looking pills! I knew something was up when I was starting to see double and couldn't walk a straight line. It took me awhile though to figure out just exactly WHAT the deal was. Chip propped me up on the sofa and went back outside to work and when he came back in I was asleep in the bathtub. I guess I decided I needed a bath and just couldn't fight it off once I got in there. What a sight I must have been...
My wrist is hamburger again. I went almost six months without any major problems with it. I spent a little more time than usual working on my Swirl Shawl this week, and am paying for it I suppose. I'm thinking I'm going to just have to get the dang thing operated on for once and for all. This is getting ridiculous.
Just a little progress photo taken with the phonecam while waiting for my car to be serviced...I'm using size 5 instead of size 6 needles. It just felt too floopy on the size 6's to me. I'm going to block the heck out of though. I think it will hold it's shape so much better knit on 5's. I did buy extra yarn in case I need to do more hexagons than called for.
PS - I lost 2.4 pounds! So that's a total of 8.4 pounds of me gone!
Hope you are beginning to feel better. The shawl will be great. I just stared the same pattern.

Falling asleep in the tub sounds a little scary to me...I'm glad you didn't just sink right under the water! My dad used to take Ambien until he accidentally took some before a trip and started seeing double while driving! Not a good situation.

Oh my gosh Grrl, be Careful!
Congratulations on the Pounds Off - I wish I could get myself back to exercising!
The Swirl Shawl is going to be So Cool.
