I was kind of surprised to find this debate last night on Knitter's Review in regards to a ball of yarn I listed on eBay a couple weeks ago. I sold a ball of Trekking XXL color #126 which ended up going for quite a bit of money. I'm happy to say the bidder did pay me promptly and the yarn is on the way to her as we "speak". I'm happy, she's happy, we're all happy. A contributor to the thread on Knitter's Review states that she found some more of this yarn at a yarn shop and would give the info out if you email her. At that time there were eight balls left and the thread is a few days old, but there may still be a chance. I found this blog entry that names a yarn shop that is rumored to have some, but as the post is a couple weeks old the supply may already be depleted. I have one ball left and am selling it on eBay as well.
What I'm working on this week:
Swatch for the steeking class at Knit Wit (in Olathe, KS) on 11/8. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks!
Shopping! Welcome to Casa De Noro....funny, the book says the colorway shown in the photo for Lindebo (cover design) is Kureyon #92, but it looks more like #88 to me, which is what is in the bag here. This most likely will be a project for next winter as I'm obligated to return to Patrick as soon as I finish my socks.
I finished my picot sock #1 and set it aside to make another set of booties for The Dutchicans. I received word late last week that Kristi and Noel have suffered the devastating loss of their unborn son, Eli Domingo Garcia. My heart goes out to them....
