Today was a long tiring day packing up my husband's mother, who is moving ten houses down the street from us in two weeks. I was so delirious I thought I was seeing things when I stumbled up the front steps and saw a package sitting in the shadows on my porch. I opened it up to reveal this tasty confection, complete with handwritten poems on the tissue paper...
And behold the fibery goodness inside....
The three hanks on the left are "Japanese Maple", and the three on the right are "Cirque". They all will be something lacy and lovely. I provide the lacy, Axelle provides the lovely....
If you have not visited Axelle's blog, Two Pointy Sticks, to see her painfully beautiful hand-dyed luxury fibers, you have to go now!

Ohhhhh, now that is some nice handpainted yarn. A+ for presentation, A++ for product! Can't wait to see it in person! And pet it! I need to wait until a month with an "f" in it before I buy more yarn, given that I just scooped up a bunch of blue sky alpaca on eBay and peace fleece from www.knitpixie.com - I need to grow some more hands so I can knit more than one project at once!

Aghhhhhhhhhh it's even nicer than I thought. I might pass out when I see mine. I'll bring it to your house this week and they can all play!
