After holding what I had done on the back of the sweater up to my body, I decided I wanted to add a couple inches in length so that the bottom of it doesn't hit above my belly button...I had already started the armhole shaping, so I ripped back to before the shaping and added two inches. Now I think it will rest right below my waist, which is perfect for me.
I have reached the point on the front where I need to begin the neck and armhole shaping. I really struggle with the Rowan shaping instructions. I think I will just have to sit down and write it out row by row for myself from this point in order to keep it straight. It's like trying to figure out a word problem from school...remember those? .....if two trains are traveling towards eachother, one is going 45 mph and the other......you get my drift?
Abbey, these are for you!
Bubba (my bro) in his "knitted by Kyra" helmet hat, flaps up!
....and flaps down.
This cracked me up. This is a Christmas gift from Bubba to Mom. This is the package all wrapped up and ready to present. Does it look like it just fell off the truck or what?
