I'm seriously considering getting this on my next new license plate. I'm swamped with knitting-for-hire these days. My pics today are the three commissioned items I'm working on. Blue Baby Blanket for my neighbor Andrea to give to her friend who just had her baby two weeks early (have to get crackin' on that!), Vintage Velvet - for The Shop, and The Menswear Scarf for my friend's new boyfriend - She has just recently picked knitting back up, and she can totally handle the garter stitch pattern, but let's face it, there are 480 stitches per row, and 11 repeats of an 8 row pattern, AND his birthday is 11/23! I talked her into the pattern and so I feel responsible and must finish it for her. I've picked up some new patterns recently, and I'm dying to get started on a new sweater, the West Side Raglan from Oat Couture. It's simple, and totally me. I have the Summer Tweed in the Smoke color to do it out of. If it turns out well, I'm going to rip out Rosemary and make a second West Side Raglan. I'm no longer feeling the love for Rosemary...she has languished long enough.
